Octopus Wrestling

I’ve got lots of experience in this field, but no Grand Champion Reserve Blue Ribbons to show for all my years of effort. I haven’t won any medals for all my cat herding, either.

Whut? This is a real "sport"? I thought it was just a metaphor.

This morning I got to wondering– what happens if I master this octopus? Do I move up a level to Squid Wrangling? Leviathan Taming?

Might need a bigger whip.

Much like Roland in Stephen King’s Dark Tower Series, the movie Groundhog Day, or The Laundry, I suspect that should I gain mastery, I’d wake up the next morning and start all over again.
