Rock Gardens

I don’t know how rock garden got omitted from last week’s post about my favorite things.

Peaceful and Serene

Peaceful and Serene

Rocks never need weeding or watering. They flourish in sun or shade and offer a subject for quiet and contemplative meditation.

Usually I wind up thinking, “Why don’t I get more rocks?”

But all that work would intrude on my intensive serenity program I’ve implemented since the kids went back to school. I’m so laid back it almost looks like I’m napping… but I’m not!

Not to mention, rocks are heavy. Since you buy rocks by the pound, it’d wreck the budget for sure. And probably knock my back out of whack and re-gimp my knee. No thanks. I’ll pass.

Speaking of passing…. Football is just around the corner.  Can’t wait!!!!
